The manager of a Faro-based supermarket chain today shot an employee, wounding him in the arm.
The incident occurred about 05.00a.m. at a warehouse in Galvanas that services the Algartalhos supermarket chain. It is thought that the employee was caught with an accomplice stealing stock. The manager saw two employees, and, in breach of disciplinary procedures, fired at one of them, winging him.
The victim was transported to hospital in Faro, the entrepreneur has gone missing and is being sought by the Judicial Police.

Yes, this is unusual. Wouldn’t you think the Employee Handbook should specify that both employees should have been shot, rather than singling out just one? And did policy call for a “winging” or was this a case of bad aim?
Wow talk about being “FIRED” this dude really did fired on one of his employees.
I assume the owner can come away with only one conclusion:
More range time.
Finally, honesty in employer - employee relations!
