I’d view sending ground troops into Gaza as a mistake or an absolute last resort, but Israel should declare Gaza to be a permanent bombing practice area.

"Not only are these people evil, sick and twisted; but they are also completely delusional. Pray for peace, real peace"

Where? Palestinians don't want "peace".

If the latest routing of Hamas terrorist is a “victory” wait for the next blood letting in which Iran is currently moving heaven and earth to rearm these terrorist thugs.

Israel IDF should have never and I mean NEVER stopped until Hamas was beaten into submission, with nothing left to fight and then being forced to sign a surrender document that would include never being allowed to rearm only under direct supervision and control of Israel, just like the USA did to Japan and Germany to end those wars.

Until Israel defeats the terrorist, they will not have any peace. The next war will be started by Hezbollah terrorist from Lebanon. they too will have to be defeated. In the end, these terrorist are nothing more than proxies of Iran, who uses these terrorist to keep Israel tied down until they can get their Nuclear bomb and then Iran will pass it on to one or both of these terrorist who will set it off in Israel just as fast as they can.

Destroy the terrorist now or fight for the very survival of Israel later. The Israeli IDF had a golden oppurtunity handed to them when Hamas attacked, but, just like all times in the past, they UN and world community hate the “jews” so pressure is applied to Israel to stop firing on those innocent “militants” and Israel capitulates to their own demise. When ever one side to a conflict demands a seize fire, it is only to rearm and are usually taking one hell of an ass kicking. Hamas never dreamed Israel's “iron dome” would be so effective against their Iranian fa 5 rockets, which litterally made them persona nongrata in the fight.

Hamas terrorist won't make the same mistake twice and even as I write this blog, Iran is rearming the terrorist with even more lethal and more suffisticated rockets to be fired into Israel courtesy of Iran.

Israel blew it by taking eight days. That’s an inordinate time to wait for some oil lamps to burn out, but way too long for a war with Hamas. It must start and end within six hours.

You have to build up to the North, so they point all their guns and missiles that way, and paste their human shields on them facing in that direction.

Then you have to swing to both flanks, sort of like the swing door maneuver used by the Union on Little Round Top at Gettysberg, only on both flanks instead of just one.

By land from the East, through the dessert.
By sea from the West.
This takes advantage of the fact that Ghaza is merely a strip, highly vulnerable on the flanks. What possessed the IDF to try a frontal assault from the North in 2008 is beyond me.

Join hands in the South
To cut off supplies from the smuggling tunnels.

Then you’re winning the six hour war.

The UN won’t have time to say squat. This can all be done on a Sunday morning, while the Western hemisphere is still sleeping, along with the UN, the Media, The Wun, and the hollywierdos. When they finally awaken, it’ll be too late to do anything or say anything. Remember, there is a seven-hour time difference between the East Coast and Israel in Israel’s favor, nine from the Left Coast. We should use that.

Agreed! Once boots are on the ground, it is only a matter of rounding up the terrorist, securing arms and rockets for destruction and allow the so called “Palestinians” to return to Gaza after they sign a nonaggression pact with Israel that starts with first recognizing their right to exist.

Well stated military maneuver, of course, we are not privy to all the military tactics the IDF has on the table. A six (6) hour war would certainly put a dent in much of the terrorist in Gaza and the United States of America before they could act in response or retaliate around the world.

Plus, you mess with their usual strategy by building up to the North, as if that will be the direction of attack. They’ll have thin defenses in their flanks, and then it’ll be like squishing a bug. Who was Olmert’s MD that he missed such an obvious idea.
