The Israelis build some good stuff of their own, particularly electronics, but without the US weapons and the subsidy for building their own, like the Iron Dome and Arrow systems, they'd be hard pressed to be well enough armed to deter all the surrounding Arab/Muslim states, especially with us arming several of them. Saudi (at least they pay for the stuff), Jordan, Egypt, Iraq. Probably Syria if the Muslim Brotherhood can manage to take over there too.
