Two of my most wonderful Friesian experiences I never even thouched the animal.
On a spring walk in England’s Southampton countryside we came upon a paddock where a man was training a Friesian. He saw us and showed off. It was a thrill to see that beautiful work.
A couple years later, Christmas in Disney World nighttime parade I was sitting on the curb and out from between buildings came some Disney princess’ sleigh. I never saw the princess because the sleigh was drawn by eight of the most elegant Friesians I’d ever seen, just breathtaking.
They certainly are distracting. Princess? What princess? LOL!
