I think you’re confusing:

S. Robson Walton (CEO)

with

S. Rawlings Walton (Obama donor)

I had read on Newsmax that it was “Sam Walton” the Chairman of WalMart who made the donation. I’d also read on a blog it was Robson who made the donation (the chairman).

They constantly want to refer to him as Sam which is confusing and the name many associate with the founder. At this point I’m not certain who made the donation.

Here’s the Newsmax quote: The super PAC backing President Obama raised $15 million last month, including $1 million from Sam Walton, the chairman of Wal-Mart, a traditional Republican-leaning organization.
