Communism is here to stay. Nothing we can do about it. This country is lost.
Afraid so, but I will be leaving soon enough, too old to care anymore.
Odd though we are building massive machines to find out who is naughty and nice. All it took when I was a kid was a belief in God, guess that doesn’t work anymore.
Speak for yourself. I don't accept your premise that there's "nothing we can do about it." We most certainly can, but it takes backbone and courage to stand up to tyranny.

Communism always fails. We haven't yet reached the point here in the U.S. where people are standing in line waiting to receive bread which doesn't exist because nobody has an economic incentive to make it; but we are getting closer.
Government pensions cannot be paid. Social Security cannot be paid. Due to inflation, even active government workers will soon receive dollars which will be so worthless as to give meaning to the saying, "They pretend to pay us and we pretend to work".
