Asked for comment, Jacqueline Burch, Office of Aging executive director, said she couldn't speak specifically about the Highberg case because the state's Older Adults Protective Services Act mandates confidentiality.

So in theory, it could have been a staffer at Oak Leaf Manor. What a great way to drum up business. Use the court system to kidnap customers and drain their savings!

"I always knew, from the day I learned what pennies were, I wanted my own house," Mrs. Highberg said. "From the day I graduated from high school and went to work, I had a special savings account at the bank for when I could buy my house. ... I worked so hard for so many years to pay it off."

But your government loves you and knows what's best. And what is best is we steal what you've worked your entire life to save. This story literally makes me sick.

whenobamacare is fully implemented, that is how they will get rid of the elderly and infirm. To wit: Put them into nursing homes. Kill them and when and if inquiry is made regarding their demise reply,"We can't discuss the case because of confidentially laws.,p>Kinda like Germany in the 30s. One would be arrested, placed in a camp, killed. Later the familt of the deceased would get a message to come to the police station to pick up their ashes. The death certificate would read: Cause of death: Heart failure.
