I don't go because of the hatred displayed by the more angry, militant leftists in the family who cannot be in a room with a conservative without frothing at the mouth.

Then there are those who agree with me politically but sit silently and watch it happen. I'd just rather not be around any of them and I don't want my wife around them either.
