I try to be reasonable, but I simply don’t understand the left’s perspective. It seems obvious that President Obama pandered to his constituents: homosexuals, minorities, single women, and Hispanics. He “evolved” on sodomy and forced the military to accept perversion, he mandated other people to pay for “free” birth control, aka abortions, for women, he imposed the DREAM Act by imperial decree, etc. How could any reasonable person come to the conclusion that this was anything other than gifts to his constituencies?
Somehow, this fool Page can although Clarence has always been a bit slow on the uptake.
Yet liberals constantly wonder aloud why any poor people vote Republican. “They’re voting against their own best interests,” is how they put it. We’re not, but their way of seeing it clearly reveals that they think the only reasonable way to vote is selfishly. You vote for whoever will give you what you want, regardless of principle, regardless of long term effect, regardless of... well... anything, really.
