Ok, so a compromise is where each side gives up a little bit to arrive at a package solution. What is the other side going to give up? What is each side going to receive? In my recollection, it seems when I am asked to compromise, it is implied that I give up everything and get nothing in return. Is that what this “compromise” is about, again?
By the way, the US Constitution, which your side swore to uphold (remember that?), identifies those areas in which there is no need to compromise. Those areas are limitations on gov’t power—areas where gov’t cannot go. I assume you aren’t asking to “compromise” those areas, are you? Are you?
