I remember the TWA 800 episode just days before the Summer Olympics in Atlanta, in 1996. Many believe it was taken down by a ground to air missle like those SA-7s, which were available at that time. These missiles are old technology but they are effective. In fact, last October an anti-aircraft "Strela SA7" missile was fired for the first time from the Gaza Strip at an Israeli warplane, but missed its target. That we gave Libyans terrorists 22,000 such anti-aircraft missiles is one more scandal in the saga of the Obama Regime's mismanagement of the Middle East. You have raised an important point.
