Voters in Arizona's 2nd pick Barber over McSally

BOB CHRISTIE, Associated Press Updated 11:50 a.m., Saturday, November 17, 2012

PHOENIX (AP) — Democrat Ron Barber has won a full term representing Arizona's 2nd Congressional District, squeaking out a win over Republican Martha McSally and giving Democrats a sweep of the state's three competitive races for U.S. House seats.

Voters decisively picked Barber to fill out the remainder of former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords term in a special election in June, but last week's election was for a full term and was so tight it took until Saturday before a winner was clear. Barber and McSally each held leads since election night, with a difference of only a few dozen votes at times, before Barber steadily began pulling ahead.

Barber is a real moron. His district will get what they deserve. Of course, we all know in Arizona that he isn’t going there to represent his constituency. Like the bimbo Ann Kirkpatrick who is going there from my district, he is just another rubber stamp for Barry Benghazi’s dream of a communist America.

Does a Dem ever lose when the election is close? In the famous words of Chicago's Mayor Daley when JFK lacked only a fewhundred/or thousand votes to win---"How many do we need?" They miraculously always appear.

Maybe she should “Go West” and make her case for voter fraud

I’m sure it went on there too

When it is “back and forth” and “neck and neck” and then, miraculously, the commie ‘RAT starts “pulling away”, you can bet voter fraud is taking place.

Thanks for posting. It’s not who votes, it’s who counts the votes? Manipulated by marxists? Triangulated by totalitarians? Left/right paradigm by “progressives” Psyops by psychopaths?

From courts to vote counters. FReedom was soooooo close. Work harder, slaves.

"The Chicago Way" is now "The American Way"!

This was the Gabrielle Giffords race. Surprised it was so close.

The GOP had a strong showing in this border disrict. The border may actually have been enforced if they had won.

I see there's no concession yet. Hope they fight for this one.

Demography is destiny. AZ will turn purple and then blue. The same holds true for Colorado and Nevada. If we continue to import 1.2 million legal immigrants a year, 87% of whom are minorities as defined by the USG, and fail to stop another 500,000 illegal aliens a year, almost all of whom are minorities, it is inevitable there will be electoral consequences. CA is our future.

<p<By 2019 half of the children 18 and under will be minorities. Each cohort that turns 18 every year is more and more Democrat.

Redistricting is what went on. AZ is supposed to have an “independent” commission. 2R’s, 2D’s, 1-I, except the “I” didn’t disclose her very close ties (hubby is a Dem that runs Dem campaigns) to the Dem party on her application. She conveniently forgot to put that down. Any “R’s” doing research had trouble getting the word out until she was picked and the redrawn map started. Brewer tried to stop it, and a Court Judge (of course) ruled against. (we don’t have standing until the maps are drawn, then object when they are certified). Any guesses on which way the “I” leaned?

So maps were essentially redrawn with three Dems/two Repubs.

This is so sad to see the emotional election of the Gifford man over someone so well qualified and strong enough to run her office by the Arizona and United States Constitutions. Our nation affixes ribbons on fences, trees, encouraging young children to do the same as that will fix everything and they don't have to address it again. Just because you work for the government and have the misfortune to get shot by some nut...does this make you a hero? Just as "nice guy" doesn't make you fit to represent a body of people. And Jesus wept...........

“I see there’s no concession yet. Hope they fight for this one. “

It’s over.

“We won, get over it.”

Barack Obama

McSally planned a 2 p.m. Saturday press conference. Her campaign manager, Bruce Harvie, declined to confirm if she planned to concede.

Two points regarding the district at issue. First, it is in deep, deep blue Pima County. Second, IIRC, the last Republican to hold it was a homosexual, Jim Kolbe.

The RNC and DNC made their Consent Decree 30 years ago, in 1982. The agreement in effect gives a carte blanche to the Democrat Party to commit vote fraud in every voting district across America that has, in the language of the Consent Decree, “a substantial proportion of racial or ethnic populations.”
