The House has to have a budget to control the purse. It hasn’t had one for years.
I understand that, but they can deny money to any dept they desire.
What they have been doing is agreeing to stop gap funding instead.
All they need to do do is shutdown the bank, it is their right because the constitution gives them and them alone that power, but they refuse to do so.
There is nothing Obama can do if they refuse the stop gap measures. The problem is they are afraid of Obama and the MSM of pointing the finger to them.
Just like the battle Gingrich and the Republicans had with Clinton, but the Republicans caved. Remember when the MSM ran all those stories, like the Yellowstone vendor losing his Holiday business?
We now know that if the Republicans held for another few days, Clinton and would have caved. We also learned that the Republicans did not suffer at all from the voters in “96”. Clinton won because Dole was a RINO, but if the Republicans held I am sure Clinton would have lost in “96”. Also, Gingrich did not want to cave, but those in his leadership under him threatened a revolt if he didn’t go with them.
Well anyway, it’s time to shut the government DOWN!
