300+ Uncounted Ballots in Allen West Race Found in Office of St. Lucie Election Supervisor
The Palm Beach Post via Twitter ^ | Friday, November 16, 2012 | George Bennett

At least 304 uncounted ballots appear in St. Lucie County.

From PBP article before the ballots were found:

At least 304 ballots from the early vote totals may be missing, a state elections official said.

A lawyer for St. Lucie Elections Supervisor Gertrude Walker said the missing ballots are believed to be in a box in her office, but she has been out of the office all day.

She has been undergoing tests at the hospital, her lawyer said.

My brother’s wife’s parents are two of those liberals from up north. I’m not sure if they are in West’s district or not as they live @ The Villages, but he is former union from New York and she just looks like a genetic democrat.

Wow... I've been to The Villages (just to visit). It's pretty serious conservative country. I wouldn't think liberals would fit in very well there... ;-)

Allen West's district is pretty far from The Villages, which is inland and NW of Orlando. His district includes the Palm Beach and Jupiter areas, which are along Florida's SE coast.

Sadly- deep blue. About 2:1.
But their counts have been so inaccurate, there is a chance he could gain the about 250 votes he needs to trigger a District wide recount (Martin, Palm Beach, St. Lucie)

Palm Beach he won- narrowly. A recount could widen that margin.
Hope springs eternal.

I am slow tonight... I think I just figured out the question.

I do not know how long Romney has/had to un-ring the bell and begin a challenge.

Thanks for the update, Goldwater Girl. Is this why Rep. West was re-districted, so as to include the deep blue St. Lucie county?

It's obvious this entire district's vote accounting is a complete sham. For the canvassing board to have to cave under pressure is just a sad commentary. Please keep us posted. Appreciate the pings ;)

Well, honestly, despite being liberal they are very nice people. I am shocked that I’m even saying that, but it is the case.

Still, I’m troubled that they are part of a serious problem in this country. I suppose that some people just do not see or understand the damage that their voting is causing. I can’t imagine that these two people in particular would be doing that on purpose. If they were, that would make me sad.

Heh, I understand that, Mr. SNIPER, what’s being done to our country is the most serious thing that I have ever seen in my entire life. It is heartbreaking, and I do not believe I could forgive my brother if he was a democrat or worse.

Luckily he is a republican, a bit moderate, but I can be that way too I suppose on certain issues. I just wish he would look further into what is happening and deepen his understanding, but I am happy that he knows what he does know.

I credit myself for that, I have been bending his ear on this for years.

It has more to do with the Constitutional amendments that passed 2 years ago. Plus we had to add 2 more new Congressional Districts. The people said they wanted competition- and they sure got it.
Martin is solid R, St. Lucie solid D, and Palm Beach has some of each. He won Martin and Palm Beach.

LOL... can’t help it. Every time I see one of your posts, I read it as yardstick. It reminds me of the nun that used to attack me, but after I learned that you’re a lawyer I felt safe again. ;>)

The Villages is in Lake County I believe. It is very Conservative so and Dems moving there will not be among many like minded folks.

This is a little different from the usual miraculous discovery of a box of ballots for the Democrat candidate. This time they removed ballots for the R candidate. It looks like they were worried that they didn’t have enough walking dead and illegal voters, so they just hid some of the Republican ballots.

People need to go to jail for this. Not long - but the word needs to get out that this will not accepted.

Right it the mantra is - its all part of the game. Its not and its time to hold people - even at the lowest levels accountable.
