I know what you mean. I came across a passage regarding some of my ancestors on my mom’s side during the revolutionary war. They all fought in the revolution. “Every Morton big enough to carry a gun.”

It is amazing. I didn’t even think that we were here yet until he found that. The Irish side didn’t get here until the 1850’s.
