Great news that the Census Bureau had the balls to rejigger the way the measure poverty and that put California at the top — where they belong. So now, Mississippi, Alabama and West Virginia can look down their noses at California.
Or, bad news, they are readying us up to bail out the “poorest of the poor” states and doing this to make California a qualifier for that dole. Hate to be a “glass half empty”, but...
