Catholics vote exactly like any other faith group.

That just isn't true, the Southern Baptists for instance, second largest denomination to the Catholics, vote about 80% pro-life republican, while the Catholic vote is pretty much a pro-abortion vote.

There are approximately 15 million Southern Baptists in the United States. There are approximately 78 million Catholics in the United States. Obama “won” the Catholic vote over Romney, 50 to 48%. But also don’t forget that this was because 73% of hispanics, the vast majority identifying as Catholic, voted for Obama. Be that as it may, if Romney got almost half the Catholic vote himself, and half of 78% million is 39 million..........it’s a safe bet to say that Catholics accounted for some 39 million pro-life votes. No comparision whatsover in the baptist pro-life vote and Catholic pro-life. Catholic pro-lifers dwarf all other Christian religions in the United States. It’s not even close. But we need all the help we can get spreading the pro-life word, so I thank you and your baptist brothers for standing up for life.
