We have current examples of this ( varying degrees of completion) using similar models for implementation (labs if you will).

Stalin was a busy fellow killing millions of his people, while everyone was focused on the atrocities being carried out by Hitler.

Mugabe in Zimbabwe, squeezed and regulated and oppressed the business that made Rhodesia successful, eventually killing off resisters who had innovated to adapt (and who employed many). Eventually, what remained of their farms were filled with drugged up, armed squatters who in turn were removed when the farms were taken by the government and given to Mugabe's family, friends and supporters. The drugged up youth mobs are used to keep the people in line through terror, rape and murders, especially on election day. South Africa is being filled with refugees fleeing Mugabe.

Hugo Chavez in Venezuela is following a similar path: class and race warfare, take the elections, change the Constitution, pack the courts, nationalize industry and control the legislature, media, cultural venues and education.

Fidel Castro with 50+ years of communist rule under his belt is one of their patron saints. Eric Holder (Janet Reno's ventriloquist) darn sure wasn't going to allow Elian Gonzales to be free.

2012 Keynote Speaker San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro is being groomed to follow Obama into the White House.

Following the labor siege at Wisconsin's capital - July 2011: Democrats Unveil the Weapon of the Future "...................This is an extraordinary series of events, of a type that we haven't witnessed before. Even more singular is the legacy media's insistence on covering the story (with the exception of the siege of Madison, which got the standard "unions unbound" treatment) as if it were commonplace to the point of boredom. It is no such thing; it is an ideological campaign of a magnitude and breadth that we have not seen in quite some time, if ever.

What all this amounts to is the baptism of fire of what I have taken to calling the "liberal superstructure." This superstructure is the vast constellation of advocacy groups, think tanks, single-issue outfits, unions, and various other flotsam constructed by the left over the past half-century or so. There are literally thousands of these groups, ranging from the ACLU and the Sierra Club with their hundreds of thousands of members to the local "Friends of the People's Venezuela" outfit which amounts to a retired feminism professor and her six cats. These organizations are ubiquitous, universal, and networked to a fare-thee- well. They are also liberalism's last great hope of controlling politics in the United States.

It's scarcely arguable that, in the political sense, liberalism is on the ropes. Obama spent their last nickel. They have lost the House and will lose the Senate, with little chance of regaining them in the near future. The same is true of the White House once the messiah gets the bum's rush come 2012. Liberalism is on the skids, its programs uniform failures, its ideology barren, its slogans worn out, its long hold on the independents being relentlessly pared down by the Tea Parties.........."

.... Can you imagine the hulabaloo if even *one* district, no matter how small & insignificant, had voted 100% R? ...

Yes. It would be examined and pronounced impossible by every liberal, academic think-tank statistician (and there are many); then the state media/pundits would carry word of it far and wide (for weeks, months and years on end).

A bit more information on Hugo Chavez’s successful revolution - Post #21

June 1, 2012: “Venezuela bans private gun ownership -

Venezuela has brought a new gun law into effect which bans the commercial sale of firearms and ammunition.

Until now, anyone with a gun permit could buy arms from a private company.

Under the new law, only the army, police and certain groups like security companies will be able to buy arms from the state-owned weapons manufacturer and importer.

The ban is the latest attempt by the government to improve security and cut crime ahead of elections in October.

...Besides the health of President Chavez, security is the main concern for voters ahead of presidential elections in October.

.....Hugo Chavez’s government says the ultimate aim is to disarm all civilians, but his opponents say the police and government may not have the capacity or the will to enforce the new law......... “

June 14, 2012: “Hugo Chavez announces Venezuela making drones and Kalashnikov rifles -

Venezuela has spent billions of dollars for Russian arms and military aircraft since 2005, including 24 Sukhoi fighter jets, dozens of attack helicopters and 100,000 Kalashnikov assault rifles.

“We are a free and independent country,” Chavez said.

Army Gen. Julio Cesar Morales Prieto, president of Venezuela’s state-run arms producer, said 3,000 AK-103 assault rifles have been assembled since Venezuela and Russia signed the 2005 agreement for the construction of a Kalashnikov assembly factory.

The factory has begun production, but construction of the facility has not yet been completed, Morales Prieto said.

The factory eventually will have the capacity to produce 25,000 rifles annually.

Chavez, a former paratroop commander, said that Venezuela has also started making grenades, ammunition and surveillance drones for its military. Three drones have been built so far, he said.

“We do not have any intentions of attacking anybody,” he said. “These projects are for defence, for peace.”.......

Thanks for posting. I remember Jonestown happening, but I thought that Jones was a messianic type who used religion and went nuts. I didn’t realize he was a self-aggrandizing socialist from the beginning. I also didn’t realize his large flock was mostly black, ruled by whites. The reason I didn’t is that most of the survivors I saw interviewed were white (which stands to reason if they were the ones handing out KoolAid for the “drill.”)

Attacking the locus of a personality cult only strengthens it. The zombies must feel the sting of responsiblity for the leader’s stupidity. This is what happened to Clintoon, his followers after 8 years developed “Clinton fatigue”, and this is from the failed tactic of only talking about the leader not his followers.

The 14 Characteristics of Fascism

1. Powerful and Continuing Nationalism
Fascist regimes tend to make constant use of patriotic mottos, slogans, symbols, songs, and other paraphernalia. Flags are seen everywhere, as are flag symbols on clothing and in public displays.

2. Disdain for the Recognition of Human Rights
Because of fear of enemies and the need for security, the people in fascist regimes are persuaded that human rights can be ignored in certain cases because of “need.” The people tend to look the other way or even approve of torture, summary executions, assassinations, long incarcerations of prisoners, etc.

3. Identification of Enemies/Scapegoats as a Unifying Cause
The people are rallied into a unifying patriotic frenzy over the need to eliminate a perceived common threat or foe: racial , ethnic or religious minorities; liberals; communists; socialists, terrorists, etc.

4. Supremacy of the Military
Even when there are widespread domestic problems, the military is given a disproportionate amount of government funding, and the domestic agenda is neglected. Soldiers and military service are glamorized.

5. Rampant Sexism
The governments of fascist nations tend to be almost exclusively male-dominated. Under fascist regimes, traditional gender roles are made more rigid. Opposition to abortion is high, as is homophobia and anti-gay legislation and national policy.

6. Controlled Mass Media
Sometimes to media is directly controlled by the government, but in other cases, the media is indirectly controlled by government regulation, or sympathetic media spokespeople and executives. Censorship, especially in war time, is very common.

7. Obsession with National Security
Fear is used as a motivational tool by the government over the masses.

8. Religion and Government are Intertwined
Governments in fascist nations tend to use the most common religion in the nation as a tool to manipulate public opinion. Religious rhetoric and terminology is common from government leaders, even when the major tenets of the religion are diametrically opposed to the government’s policies or actions.

9. Corporate Power is Protected
The industrial and business aristocracy of a fascist nation often are the ones who put the government leaders into power, creating a mutually beneficial business/government relationship and power elite.

10. Labor Power is Suppressed
Because the organizing power of labor is the only real threat to a fascist government, labor unions are either eliminated entirely, or are severely suppressed .

11. Disdain for Intellectuals and the Arts
Fascist nations tend to promote and tolerate open hostility to higher education, and academia. It is not uncommon for professors and other academics to be censored or even arrested. Free expression in the arts is openly attacked, and governments often refuse to fund the arts.

12. Obsession with Crime and Punishment
Under fascist regimes, the police are given almost limitless power to enforce laws. The people are often willing to overlook police abuses and even forego civil liberties in the name of patriotism. There is often a national police force with virtually unlimited power in fascist nations.

13. Rampant Cronyism and Corruption
Fascist regimes almost always are governed by groups of friends and associates who appoint each other to government positions and use governmental power and authority to protect their friends from accountability. It is not uncommon in fascist regimes for national resources and even treasures to be appropriated or even outright stolen by government leaders.

14. Fraudulent Elections
Sometimes elections in fascist nations are a complete sham. Other times elections are manipulated by smear campaigns against or even assassination of opposition candidates, use of legislation to control voting numbers or political district boundaries, and manipulation of the media. Fascist nations also typically use their judiciaries to manipulate or control elections.

I think of Baraq more as the Chavez type.

Was Fidel ever “elected”?

I think our US elections look a lot like Venezuela’s now.

Methods are employed by the global climate change crowd”””

Find a copy of Range Magazine- published quarterly in Carson City, Nevada. Go to page 62 of the Winter 2013 issue. They are also online.

It clearly shows how much fraud is contained in the ‘Climate Change’ crowd.

I never would have thought of what they are doing all across the country & parts of the world, but it is so simple that it is brilliant!!!

WHERE they locate their ‘temperature sensors’ is the key to the fraud.

Obama doesn’t want any ‘recovery’.

He wants this country to be a mirror image of Kenya, where he was born.

For those who don’t remember Jonestown, after they killed themselves, JIMMY CARTER ordered the bodies returned to the US, each in it’s own coffin. He wanted to give relatives a chance to bury the bodies. NO ONE came to claim them so after about six months, they were tossed into the ocean.

Both are communist thugs.

I have posted many times that Obama is turning us into Venezuela.

I quoted Levin because that was his repeated term just recently, and because CW had posted some info that included the name of Fidel Castro, and she doesn’t hear Mark Levin...
