I have not bought any overpriced Wonder Bread or Twinkies in many years.
Honestly, I think they should sell it off. Get rid of the unions (sorry conservative union guys who work for Hostess) and let someone new continue the name.
Perhaps then a pair of twinkies will cost less than 3 bucks.
I believe you, and note that one of the signs of loss of viability is public price resistance.
Price yourself out of the market and you're finished if ya can't lower prices.

Just bought Wonder bread whole grain wheat for $.99 on sale yesterday.
Always had wonder bread as a kid, haven’t bought it in many many years either. I used to love the chocolate cupcakes, but a year or more ago they changed the cake, doesn’t taste the same, probably Michele Obama’s orders to make them taste like shit!
Shame on ME! At a recent “Farmers’ Fair” here in flyover country, I bought something I’ve heard about for a while now. I sprang for the culinary delight called a “Deep fried Twinkie”! Not bad.....if one can stand the calories. And there is another new delicacy making the rounds out here in the boonies, too: Deep-fried Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups! Goll-leee!
