My guess is Petraeus isn’t so damaged that he can’t get a major executive job or write a book or two. He’ll do just fine even if the government cuts of his cash flow. He’ll also feel better knowing he told the truth.
What worry? He will probably get a 10M book offer.

Nor I. Maybe his financial guy has been selling stocks short all week for GP/HP and they no longer worry about money.
I am not being sarcastic. I would think that he would be considered ‘damaged goods’ by the DC crowd and even the military. But after pocketing several millions, he’s free to come clean and put it all behind him.

Big Media seemed to start calling him MR. Petraeus yesterday, already drummed him out of the service for their messiah.
