Then tell me: have you been showing love to fellow Christians? Your above response sure did not seem loving, but then I admit that my own perceptions are not always correct. Let us turn to God's own word then:
1 John 4:20-21I think we would all be better off if those claiming to be Christians loved God, because if we did then we would be loving our fellow Christians, too. As the above says, it is impossible to love God and not love your fellow Christians.
If anyone says, I love God, and hates a brother or sister, he is a liar, because the person who doesn’t love a brother or sister who can be seen can’t love God, who can’t be seen. This commandment we have from him: Those who claim to love God ought to love their brother and sister also.
