Israel will handle the Iranian threat the same way it dealt with similar threats from Iraq and Syria, Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman said on Wednesday.
Liberman was referencing the 1981 Israeli strike on Iraqs Osirak nuclear reactor and the 2007 attack on Syrias nuclear core at Deir al-Zor. Israel has never officially acknowledged bombing the Syrian core although it has been widely reported to have been behind the attack.
Israel knows how to act to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear bomb, he said.
The public should leave the decision on how and when to act to decision-makers, the foreign minister said. If you want to shoot, shoot. Dont talk, he added.
Liberman was speaking to students at the Ariel University Center, where he also asserted that the best defense against Gazan rocket attacks against southern Israel was IDF attacks on the Strip.
He slammed the international community, saying it could not be trusted to help Israel if major violence broke out.
Anyone who trusts the international community should look at its failure to stop 22 months of Syrian violence, with 40,000 dead, he said...

God be with Israel.

So,,, Lieberman was quoting Tuco in the “Good, the Bad, and the Ugly?” Everyday, i think the political world can’t get more nutty, but then it does.
Although,,,, i agree with Liebermans sentiment on the issue. And also, the Israelis seem to be fighting on the PR front in this recent flare up. Today they called out CBS for ignoring hundreds of rockets fired last week into their cities.
They asked correctly if ANY nation of earth would not respond the same.
They have thought this one out carefully. They know they cannot count on us.
“,,Today they called out CBS for ignoring hundreds of rockets fired last week into their cities.”
It’s a waste of time trying to get “news” from C-BS, NBC, ABC and their ilk.
Dear People of Israel, put the USA at the top of your list of countries not to trust.
We are sorry.....
They can trust decent Americans. Unfortunately, that is less than 50% of our voters. What they cannot trust is our White House. I hope and pray that they are not so foolish as to leak ANY tactical information to anyone in our government. I don't understand why they are even talking about this. They should talk after the attack on Iran is in progress, possibly after their forces are returning home - or perhaps not even then. The exception is that I wouldn't mind them saying they had decided that the international and regional community have as much to fear from a nuclear Iran as Israel does, so they are leaving the problem to other countries to solve. I'd like to hear that so long as it was misinformation. The Israel haters would panic at the thought that Israel might not solve this deadly problem for them.
Can they trust the 70% of american jews that voted for Obama?

Most of those Jews are like the Jews who collaborated with antisemitic bigots throughout history. They hope if they give in to their enemies on enough issues, their enemies will no longer hate them. Sadly, that's not how hatred and bigotry work. Most of those Jews trust the Muslim Brotherhood, the barbarians who want to destroy the Sphinx and pyramids, and who want to revoke all agreements with Israel, more than they like or trust anyone who sides with peace and security. I don't understand self-hatred.
Yesterday I clicked on the MSM sites to read how they were reporting on this. All were labeling Israel as the aggressor with no mention of the hundreds of missile and mortar attacks from Gaza against Israel in the prior week.
He should have gone with the old standby - rattling a saber makes noise, drawing it does not.
Tuco? Is that you?!
I talked to my Mother a few hours ago, she says the feeling where she lives in Haifa is that they are glad The Military is acting now, the more time they waste the greater the chance of Tel Aviv or some other city has of glowing in the dark from some dirty bomb or even just multiple conventional attacks.
If you want to shoot, shoot. Dont talk, he added.
Exactly. If Republicans could only learn.....
(Politically, of course...duh)
“..All were labeling Israel as the aggressor with no mention of the hundreds of missile and mortar attacks from Gaza against Israel in the prior week.”
So true, which is why it’s a waste of time listening to them. No wonder NBC has to lay off many of their employees.
aclj.org radio, and their website, gives excellent info. re: Israel.
