Long live unions who will destroy a business to prove their power. Do the members want this to happen or only the union leaders?

"Our members are on strike because they have had enough," bakers' union president Frank Hurt said in a statement Tuesday. "They are not willing to take draconian wage and benefit cuts on top of the significant concessions they made in 2004 and give up their pension They're just not getting this "redistribution of wealth" stuff, are they?

I don’t buy this crap now as it’s overpriced. How much would these union jackasses like to see a box of Twinkies go for $12?

Fire them all. There’s no law that says they have to negotiate with unions. Hire real unemployed people and train them.

Hostess is too big to fail. The Govt needs to step in immediately.
Although liquidated twinkies sound delicious!

Any worker who goes on strike deserves to loose their job and have it filed by someone who wants to work. They can re-apply after the strike is over, but be put at the bottom of the pile.

How long before Obama declares the Twinky a national treasure, seizes Hostess and gives the company to the unions ahead of bond or stock holders?

Apparently the Baker’s Union is claiming that in the Hostess reorganization the Teamsters Union got the better deal. The Teamsters aren’t honoring the strike by the Bakers who could probably care less if the company survives.
