I fear you may be right about your ‘dog and pony show’ prediction. I just can’t bring myself to hope or expect that Petraeus will do the right thing here.
I can’t see Petraeus doing anything to harm his pension or his wife/family any further than he has already. And if he changes his previous statement, he could be charged with perjury, maybe face a jail term. If he even hints at changing his testimony he could end up being Breitbarted. Nope...don’t see it happening, wish I could.
