Repeal of the 17th Ammendment is a fantasy. You might get 1/3 of the states to agree on that one.

Constitutional Convention scares the beJeesus out of them.

Threat may be useful, Or if convened for limited agenda.

For those that fear it would get out of control, consider where we are already.
