I want to believe Patraeus is an honorable man with human failings. I want to believe that, having tarnished his honor, he will seek to restore what dignity he can by spilling ALL the beans on Obamalini.

If he did, then I could certainly forgive him for being human and I would gladly acknowledge that, at his core, he truly is an honorable man who made a horrible mistake. He will suffer the rest of his life, but people could say, “...at least he did the right thing in the end.”

One can only hope.

If they have threatened him or his family, or blackmailed him about anything at all, he should tell the world about it, and then spill all of his beans, no matter what kind of trouble he may get into. Finally truth would win out. No matter what he may have done that they could blackmail him about, his future isn't worth our Country's if he is an honorable man.

If they threatened his family, and the world knows it, they likely wouldn't be able to carry it out. He could tell the world the ways that they could kill or harm his family without it looking like they did it, so that people would know that if they end up dead what to look for.

If he spilled the beans on the Obama people, they could end up in prison. The prisoners might not like them either. For decent people he would become a hero, even if a flawed life was exposed, because in the end he did what was best for the Country. This would be much better than committing suicide, as it would actually help clear our Country of these scumbag, leftist thugs.
