We used to fish w/ M-80s. We’d tape one to a rock, light its waterproof fuse and pitch it into the lake, The underwater concussion would render dozens of fish unconscious and they’d float to the surface, where we’d net them. Beat the crap out a fishing pole and worms, one fish at-a-time. 1-2 M-80s, and we’d have enough bass or trout for a month. (Just make sure there’s no scuba divers below.)

Using a grenade or dynamite is nuts, unless you have 8-10secs of fuse. It needs to go 15-20ft deep, not be a surface blast, like that clip.

Blast Fishing.

M-80s don't do much damage to the fish or surrounds, like a larger charge. I've seen guys use ¼-sticks of dynamite, and that didn't end well for one of them. Does a lot of damage underwater. M-80s are much smaller chrage.
