A White House petition gathering force calls for citizenship to be stripped and exile for anyone who signs a petition in favor of a state's secession.

"Mr. President, please sign an executive order such that each American citizen who signed a petition from any state to secede from the USA shall have their citizenship stripped and be peacefully deported," the full petition reads.

The title of the petition is, "WE PETITION THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION TO: Strip the Citizenship from Everyone who Signed a Petition to Secede and Exile Them."

As of this writing, 2,205 have signed the petition; 22,795 more signatures are needed for the issue to be addressed by the White House.

This:

As Opposed to this:

we petition the obama administration to:

Peacefully grant the State of Texas to withdraw from the United States of America and create its own NEW government.

The US continues to suffer economic difficulties stemming from the federal government's neglect to reform domestic and foreign spending. The citizens of the US suffer from blatant abuses of their rights such as the NDAA, the TSA, etc. Given that the state of Texas maintains a balanced budget and is the 15th largest economy in the world, it is practically feasible for Texas to withdraw from the union, and to do so would protect it's citizens' standard of living and re-secure their rights and liberties in accordance with the original ideas and beliefs of our founding fathers which are no longer being reflected by the federal government.

No. You must not have seen all the GTFO posts whenever secession came up (I think it started in the discussions about that lefty book, Better Off Without ‘Em)
They started this last summer or before.
As if they have any right to America. They hate America & everything it stands for. That’s why they’re doing everything they can to “transform” it into a communist state.

yeah, please...no President has the authority to strip us of our constitutional right. If he tries, you will see warfare.

I want to petition the WH for an obamaphone in the event they strip me of my citizenship. Or at least a Wal-Mart gift card. They can keep the citizenship.

The brown shirts have no idea how far over the line they have crossed.Who knew asking the state to exercise their 10th amendment rights could cause other citizens to lose their minds.I’d like them to be very afraid that someone would hack it and find each of the 2000 signatories on their silly little petition.

Like those who have excommunicated themselves with actions against the teaching of the Catholic church, you will simply have to self-exile.

Um...what about the explicit constitutional protections for the right to petition the government and peaceably assemble?

"Stripping Citizenship and Exile for Anyone Who Signs Petition to Secede"

LMAO!!

I'm surprised that they didn't suggest The Secession Signers be rounded-up in wooden freight cars and shipped to gas chambers.

The Nazis were socialists after all, and weren't prone to finding peaceful negotiated solutions to just about anything.

Those too! ;) Can we petition the government to go after all of those who have signed it for violating our civil rights?

It can be revoked, but only from naturalized citizens.

Indeed, that’s what going Galt is - self exile, cold war for independence.

Uh, if you haven’t noticed, the lawless one makes his own
laws and ignores any/all he wants......

No doubt he could do this by Exec. order and the Repubs would do nothing about it.

I’m sure it would include seizure of all the assets of the secessionists.......
