It’s a homey trap and it is beiong carried out by enemies to this Republic. I do not know if they are foreign or domestic at this point.
But it could just as easily be Islamic enemies, other foreign nations (Putin...Chinese...etc.) as it could be a Chicago style sting/blackmail/purge operation. Taking out loyal American commanders.
