If anything, I would have given states 2 electors per senator instead of one. The power of the majority was not really balanced by the electoral college compromise.

And there are idiots out there who want to do away with the electoral college. Then we can just sign over everything we own to New York and California.

With what TJ stated, maybe there aren’t ENOUGH States — when a megalopolis overwhelms a State’s influence, then you have microcosms of our national conditions.

Split NY, IL, CA ... apportion EV’s primarily by House districts, and everyone gets better representation.
