The FBI, did this to AZ Attorney General a couple weeks ago. Surveillance on “another investigation” and they they “leak” “report” that he had a woman in his car, not his wife, and they were having an affair.
Sounds like Law Enforcement (of course IRS is), used to harass, blackmail, try to change Elections.

For years in the 1990s that's what Jack Kemp, Jeb Bush, and William Bennett demanded of the California Republicans while berating them for passing Prop 187 (anti-ILLEGAL immigration) in the 1994. That year the Republicans also won the governor's spot and won control of the Assembly for the first time since the Spanish conquistadors were here.
But the Republican Party complied anyhow and in the past 15 years or so they've won just three statewide offices including two by SchwarzenKennedy and the other was the Insurance Commissioner who was chased out of office because a Democrat member of the Assembly was termed-out and she wanted that job.
