The Battling Bastards of Benghazi
We’re the Battling Bastards of Benghazi,
no fame, no glory, no paparazzi.
Just a fiery death in a blazing hell,
defending the country we loved so well.
It wasn’t our job, but we answered the call,
fought to the consulate, ‘n scaled th’ wall.
We pulled twenty countrymen from the jaws of fate,
led them to safety, ‘n stood at th’ gate.
Just the two of us, ‘n foe by th’ score,
but we stood fast to bar th’ door.
We called for reinforcement, but it was denied,
so we fought, ‘n we fought, ‘n we fought, ‘n we died.
We gave our all for our Uncle Sam,
‘n Obama didn’t give a damn,
just two dead SEALS, who carried the load,
no thanks to us, we were just bumps in the road.

There is a movement now growing in the country to award American military personnel the Purple Heart for wounds received in the US due to terrorism (i.e. Ft. Hood Massacre and the Little Rock, Ark. recruiting station shooting (one dead, one wounded).
It is being promoted by the families of the Ft. Hood victims as well as Mr. Bledsoe, the father of the Little Rock killer, and Mr. Long, the father whose son was killed there.
Google the terms “Purple Heart and Terrorism” or a mix like that. You should be able to find the correct name of the organizations who are working on this issue.
It is possible that Doherty and Woods would also qualify for a Purple Heart as contract security officers who were killed by terrorists. The same for Ambassador Stevens and Sean Smith.
This is our way of striking back at the Coward In Chief and his ball-less Secy of Defense and JCS head Gen. Dempsey.
