Exactly right. Say no to bipartisan nonsense. Let the takers own it.
Keep the military strong and let the rest destroy itself.
For what reason should the military be kept strong? To fight for what, exactly?
Freedom? Obama supporters have chosen to give up freedom in exchange for "safety," from the government. All those receiving government benefits in some form, have indicated their willingness to comply with whatever government tells them.
Democracy? Democrats have suggested that the Republican Party is "obstructionist," and that we are uncompromising. They want the rule of a tyrant, not of and by the people.
Our Constitution? Those on the left have long detested this ancient document. The Bill of Rights are an antiquated concept from another era, when individial responsibility and moral character mattered.
The level of readiness from our military is not just about technology and hardware...it's about our people and our policies...policies directed by the Commander-In-Chief. There's always been an element of "politics" involved with advancement in the ranks. Eventually, the line between the military "blurs" with the civilian ranks, especially for senior commanders. Then, we start to see how weak or disiniterested leadership can have a profound affect on our military's ability to carry out the simplest of missions.
