First, let’s not forget the suberb results for the House of Reprsentatives. Obviously the GOP can win. We retained neary the highwater mark of GOP members in the House. We are, however, failing to regain the Senate, which we should have won, and the Presidential campaign failed. First, Romney was too much of a liberal to get the base enthusiastic. Paul Ryan as the VP helped there, but then Ryan was forced to be a namby pamby, from what I can tell, and not be himself.
Romney sat by idly in the spring while a grotesque image was created of him by the Obama campaign. I think that demonization stuck with some conservative middle class and lower middle class Christian white voters, who stayed home. And, then, don’t forget — the Democrats cheated. We have to stop voting fraud and we can’t be sissies about it.

The Masters of the Lie ensured that people only saw one side of Romney (until he was able to make an impression in the debates - the filter was removed). The propaganda of the left, if it isn’t countered, will ensure Dem victories for eternity.
I don’t feel as though we lost an election; I feel that there wasn’t an election at all.
We have the House because of gerrymandering.
