Has her husband been convicted of this, or how do we know that it was an honor killing by her husband?

Agreed. It would have been helpful if the article made note of the arrest of her husband with a reference.

Thank you. I wonder if the author (Greenfield?) would update the article to include that, just for those who haven’t followed the story through to its conclusion and need to know he’s not just being an “Islamophobe”.

With so many of these supposed hate crimes, the faker grabs headlines and the lie goes around the world a hundred times before a forensic investigation can conclusively prove it a fake - at which time a small article in the back of the papers is not seen by most, and the lie is thus able to be effective. Which is why they keep doing it.
