So please tell me, how is it that registering Independent makes you immune to the hell storm of liberalism headed our way? Really, please do. If it really does make it “not a problem” anymore, then I want to change my registration tomorrow.

If there are 30% republican, 30% democrat, 30% independent, and 1% ‘other’ then it would be harder for the r or d candidate to get 270 electoral votes.
That is why both the rinos and dems fear the independent /tea party movement.
The comment I was responding to was about overcoming identity politics. I overcame it. I’m out of the GOP, which wasn’t interested in my opinion anyway.
