when are we gonna learn? the more technology we apply to the situation, the more opportunity for fraud we are building into it.

There's one solution which would work and one only. We need to get rid of the secret ballot. When I vote, my name, contact info, some sort of a unique ID number, and vote should go into a national database and ANYBODY should be able to do his own tally and any two tallies should produce the same number and outcome. That would fix the problem and I can't think of anything else which would.

The founding fathers saw no need for the secret ballot (the freedom of expressing your political choice is the ultimate application of the first amendment). The first and second amendments go hand in hand with the "stand up and be counted" approach of townhall meetings.

The secret ballot was imported with late immigrants who were used to hiding their opinions from the ruling class. Those who claim that the secret ballot protects against voter intimidation apparently do not make political contributions, apply bumper stickers, post yard signs or attend rallies. The secret ballot has always been used as a means of corrupting the political process.

If you can verify that your vote was counted correctly, no one can change it or delete it. An open ballot also makes it easy to catch "voting" by dead or imaginary persons or non citizens. An easy implementation of an open ballot would be an online list with totals by precinct, county and state. If every individual had the capability of verifying his own vote (and those of people he knew), there would be no requirement for massive amounts of manpower to perform the task.

There is no doubt that Obama stole this election. To assume otherwise is to assume that the average American is incredibly stupid and/or corrupt, and that any further resistance to the communist in the White House is futile.

Of the many ways that the Democrats committed fraud this time, the most egregious is the undercount of Republican votes. This can be addressed by citizens standing up to declare how they actually voted. Trying to be "safe" by hiding behind the skirts of yet another anonymous poll or secret ballot will accomplish nothing, since the anonymous votes will be manipulated again.

To those who fear that an open ballot will lead to a Hitler or Stalin: What do we have now? We need an open ballot while we still have the second amendment.

sure, get rid of the secret ballot! that way the winning candidate has proof of who his enemies are, and can act accordingly...
