It may be important to organize a communication campaign to all our GOP house members. Vote in new leadership or we stay home in 23 months. Also we have primaries to challenge them that start up in less than a year.

The speaker better take a good look at the performance of 2nd term POTUS’s!!! It’s usually lousy. they either get it done in the first four years....or they don’t get it done. Obama is not going to have a good second term. He is off to a lousy start. Start with Benghasi/Petraeous and carry on!!! he may think he has a free hand....he does not!!! He is actually a lame duck from day one, forward!!! both Democrats and Republicans will make life miserable for him. Both parties have nothing to fear from him. Millions of Americans have a bad taste in their mouth over his surprising victory!!! You get the picture, just give it some time....he will do himself in very easily. Pubbies....don’t give Obama an inch. force his back against the wall on every move!!! Just remember....when you want to make nice with Obama...he is the guy with the “Obama Stash Supporters & Voters!!! His corps of free handout, Obamabots bring nothing productive to the economy table. period!!!

“Get your a**e* in line!” Part Two? We’ve seen that movie.
This one won’t end well either—for Boner and the GOP-e!

I agree with you - give Obama and Reid essentially everything they want in tax increases - including rates - so long as it is categorically clear to the MSM and the American people that Obama and the Dems own the consequences.

Why the Hell should the GOP carry water for the 2 percent, when half of the two percent vote for the Dems anyway?

Let the american people learn - the hard way - that all wealth comes from free enterprise and zero from government.

And who believes anything written by the Communist NYT? If this were to be an accurate account, Boeher ought to have his butt kicked out of the Speakership.
If he’s such a stud, why didn’t he deliver Ohio? No one should be given a leadership role if they come from an Obama state.

Well, a bitter primary of an incumbent didn’t work out so well in Indiana.

Lugar should have retired, long past time for him to go. But the primary resulted in a disastrous candidate, richard murdock.

Utah is not Colorado; Colorado is not Indiana; and Indiana is not Delaware. There is a limit to which the electorate will be pushed in anything beyond deep red states. Our stupidity plays entirely into the Dems playbook.

Mike Lee was able to primary Bennett and hold the seat in Utah. Delaware in 2010 was a needless disaster, same as Nevada and Colorado.

Tally the Senate seats that the GOP has BLOWN in two cycles: DE NV CO MO WI IN ND MT VA

It’s unbelievable.

The GOP House lost ground this cycle because Obama had coattails in dark blue states, most principally Illinois Calif and NY. This is where we lost 9 or so seats, and we are damned lucky it wasn’t worse.

But the GOP won, didn’t they? They squelched the conservatives early and totally. Romney savaged Gingrich and Santorum, and used the kid gloves for Obama. And there is little Romney would have done differently than Obama, his presidency’s purpose would have been to solidify Obama’s changes. Now they can share the spoils with their other buddies in their party - the Dems - for 2 more years.

Keep voting Republican and believing they are somehow a separate party.

If you want tax fairness, start by making everyone pay the same Tax rate on income. EVERYONE. No one escapes income tax!

If all men are created equal before the law, them be equal before the tax law too.

The Party did not lose, America lost. Now is not the time to continue being spineless RINOs. It is time to grow a set and really go after the criminals and traitors that are running our Country.

I think congressman Boehner has used up just about all his credibility. After kissing the Democrats rear end for four years now, so as not to be “divisive”, he is now complaining that the Republicans in the house have been too contentious.

No, congressman, it is you who are wrong.

The Democrats are rapidly leading our country off a cliff to its doom. And you have been their co-pilot, too afraid to wrest the controls away from them and at least *try* to save our country.

And why? Because you are terrified that you will make them mad at you, or that it will hurt you in the elections IN TWO YEARS.

Enough of your sniveling! Fight them, damn you! Act like a man!

You cannot bargain your way out of this. Unless you take a stand, you will only inherit the smoking hole that is left of our country.

Sounds as if Nancy Pelosi is speaker of the House.

Why should the Republican Party retain control of the US House, if their leadership acts as if they lost control ?

I was under the impression the position of Speaker of the House was re-selected, at a minimum, every time a new Congress is sworn-in.

It appeared to me after the GOP took the House in ‘94 that after being the minority party for decades, they still acted like the minority party and let the Rats run things.

When we people start civil disobedience? Since taxes came up here I will repost the below. People need to work together to jam up the systems

——re: 2013 tax returns—————
All I am saying is inundate them with paperwork that they have to painstakingly process to the point that the agencies crippling becomes newsworthy. Ask for the automatic extension, but estimate wisely (i.e. do it on time and just file the extension for fun) and pay along with that extension request. Later, file, accurately. Later, amend, for a simple $20. Every filing should be handwritten with stray marks, oddly formed digits, anything to befuddle the automatic processing equipment.

That doesn’t mean you can’t use turbotax or whatever. Just copy if by hand and mail it in at the end.

USPS would make another simple example of a newsworthy target. Postage due for trivial amounts, they have to stop to collect that nickel. Remail junk mail to yourself. (Don’t tear it up, drop it in a blue box near work..... Repeat as needed. ) Imagine a snarled USPS, again, newsworthy.

A full consumer boycott of Christmas season, and no unreasonable since many of the big retailers donate to Democrats.

There are many ideas, but most people prefer their warm big scree hypnotic devices to inconvenience still. Imagine the idea that Americans would not consume wildly at Christmas......

Do you really think we can increase popularity for a conservative philosophy by advocating that what we need is more “waste, fraud and abuse” in government? It’s not clear to me how more “waste, fraud and abuse” will lead to less government and lower taxes. What kind of voters would be attracted by that kind of movement?
