Montana has a more than 500 mile border with Canada. Although a port would be great, it is not necessary. Hell, palm trees would be great too...

Palm trees? Cold north of the M-D line?!?

Thin blood FRiends! Thin, thin blood! I like nothing better than heading out for a 6AM jog in the woods in the New England January.

Seasons--the one thing I'll miss if I ever manage to escape this crazy state.

An older fellow I work with grew up in Montana in the 30’s and 40’s, and has written many stories about it.

One good one is how in the winter every farm house had ropes strung from the back door to the out buildings. That was because the snow was so deep or falling so intensely people could become disoriented.

He says he would never go back to live there.
