That’s only because the Democrats didn’t want the House, if they really wanted to win back the House they would have....but now they have a convenient scapegoat when things go bad.
That’s an interesting theory. Wouldn’t it have been easier for them to give up control of the Senate? For that matter, didn’t they blame Republicans anyway back in 2009-10 when the Democrats controlled the White House and both Houses of Congress for two years?
