But I guess you just had to get a nasty snide comment in because you are a nasty, snide person.
I didn't say I lived in Oceanside. Reading comprehension problems? Perhaps you can get one of you relative to explain the governmental differences between the Town of Hempstead, the Town of North Hempstead and the Town of Oysterbay. Nassau County is divided into 3 TOWNS

Florida went for Obama. So according to your pretzel when the next disaster hits Florida I should wish ill on all.
You are one of the nastiest Freepers I've ever had the misfortune to come across in all my years here. There's always one rotten apple that has to spoil it for the rest.
You were wrong that Hempstead took the worse hit ... the barrier islands on the south shore did. No one who resides on those beaches (or any other LI town) would describe themselves as living in Hempstead. And when I send out Christmas cards this year they will be addressed to East Meadow, Atlantic Beach, Rockville Centre, Wantagh, and Inwood ... not to Hempstead.
When I corrected you, you shouted back at me in CAPITAL LETTERS, and with a holier than thou attitude decided to give me an unnecessary and unneeded civics lesson.
After reading all the comments on this thread, with the unbridled hatred and lack of empathy towards the victims of Sandy, you’ve decided that I’m the nastiest Freeper ever??? Well, that’s your problem, not mine.
BTW, did you know that, between the flooding and the fires, 10% of FDNY’s firefighters lost their homes on the Rockaway peninsula. Y’all were cheering these same firemen on 9/11 and now your cheering the destruction of their homes. And I’m the nasty one ... lol.
