Here's the best evidence I have that New York has been going through a complete Keystone Kops operation since Hurricane Sandy:
Mike Francesa, the popular sports talk radio host who does a daily radio show from 1:00-6:30 PM in the New York market, has basically pre-empted his regular sports programming to dedicate the airtime to callers who want to chime in and discuss pressing post-hurricane issues. He's had open invitations to anyone from the city and state governments and the power companies, and some of these folks have had the courage to call him.
For this to be going on almost two weeks after the storm hit is pretty remarkable. The picture I'm getting is one of complete bedlam over there.
