Yes, the media will go after the sex part. I mean, look at the not so attractive General and the pretty, athletic, married, mom of 2. It is a story that will sell. And it doesn’t involve terrorists and weapons and overthrowing governments and assassinations. Those are the kinds of things that get reporters killed. The American public does not handle messy bloody stories very well. Half of the people become outraged and want someone to pay. The other half wants to get high, drunk, read poetry, and sing kum ba ya. But everybody loves a romance. Except for the betrayed families, of course.
