This whole thing about Gen.Petraeus resigning over some personal affair he has with some woman does not meet the smell test.
As if ? this kind of thing is unprecedented ?
Sound more like he's being coerced to resign.
Maybe Petraeus was hired because a lot of Republicans and Centrists liked him, now that the election is over, his services are no longer needed, he served his purpose.
