This is exactly what I thought of at first when I heard it. How I so hope that Petraeus outted himself and decided not to play along with these guys and come clean. Even if it means losing his pension and what ever else! If he revealed the truth about what happened in that situation room and who gave the orders Not to save the lives of those 4 men that would be pretty powerful testimony.

I'm not sure that he would lose his pension, he resigned.
Now it seems to me he is FREE TO TELL ALL. I hope he desires to regain some respectability and testifying will be the way to do that.
He has so humiliated himself with many Military Brass on just the Benghazi affair. I believe he SO WANTS THAT BACK, I don't believe he is a COWARD after all this time in the service, he just fell in with the bad crowd and got burned. JMO
The other affair is not a job killer.

Folks talk about losing his pension. He is already retired from the Army. I am sure any financial gain from the CIA is peanuts.
A guy like this is not driven by money.
Although, it will be interesting to see if he is still married in six months.
