Pat Caddell -- the Democratic pollster who was a regular on Fox News during this campaign and really thought Romney would win this thing -- was on the radio today, and he was absolutely livid about some of the back-room nonsense that was apparently going on in the GOP campaign.

He said pretty openly that this campaign was little more than an opportunity for GOP "strategists" and "consultants" (he mentioned Karl Rove in particular) to make a lot of money from the hundreds of millions of dollars in donations to the Romney campaign and the RNC during this election cycle.

This I believe. Moderates running the Romney campaign made no real effort to attract Conservatives. ABO was not enough.

Another source that closely studied the Obama campaigns GOTV efforts as compared to ORCA said bluntly that “the Obama training manuals made ORCA look like drunken monkey slapped together a powerpoint”

Harsh statement. Sad to see them turn on one another.

I heard him, too. He was livid.

Why don’t these Morons use a Guy like Dick Morris?
He was a clinton campaign advisor...He understands the left’s mind set....and I am impressed with His political
number crunching....He is at least as good as Rove.

and the best part is He Hates the left Now....
someone needs to put him on a “retainer” for 2016....

I wonder how many of those "strategists" and "consultants" are actually Democrats?

Cadell is a good man.

He’s right about these political animals that dwell on both sides of the aisle yet have no honest loyalty to anyone. You either hire them or be destroyed by them. In many cases they destroy the candidate they’re working for as soon as a better deal comes along.

Actually, that’s one of the things that makes Obama a bit different. His political handlers aren’t the old democrat standards, his have real loyalty, if not to him, to the marxist ideal. It makes them a more dangerous breed.

I hope Rove simply goes away. I am sick of him and the Bushies. Sick of the entire mess. I am ready for a new party. The Conservative Patriot’s Party.

He pounded the “Demographic is destiny” theme to smithereens, too. Whatever Republican buys into that ought to be driven out to pasture in a hurry. This obviously was the community organizer election. Voting precincts 10,000 to 0 obviously takes the skill of a real palm greaser like Obama. And everybody said his “real world experience” amounted to nothing. Meanwhile, I was looking forward to authentic competence from Romney-Ryan and they turn out to be rank amateurs before they ever get to the gates of the White House.

I heard him in the car. He was on fire. Tearing everyone apart. Great radio. I know he used to be for Carter, but some 2016 hopeful should look into hiring him or at least “consulting” with him..

Pat Caddell IS a Dem. operative..so why do we care what he thinks of the GOP campaign? He is not going to say or do anything to help pick up the pieces.

Makes me glad I didn’t donate any money to the campaign!

Hey Rove, you magnificent BASTARD!

I could use a little help to heat my house and help me make it through the next four years.

A check for a couple hundred-grand ought cover it
