As many of them will likely do - the $h-- has just hit the fan and is still spraying. Give them time to do what they can before denigrating them. It's a pain-in-the-ass, life-changing experience to find yourself out of a job that you worked hard at, and then have to uproot yourself and your family in order to try to reengage. Many may have to go into (or further into) debt to make a move that may or may not pan out. I guess it's always easier to coach from the couch when one is not on the field getting one's butt kicked.
At the very least, it’s nice to see some concern for the unemployed around here. It’s been in short supply lately.
Hopefully it’s not just a case of convenient politics.
