Romney should have called Obama a failure to his face at the second debate and told him flat out that he was elected to fix things, not to complain about his predecessor. He should have invoked Ronald Reagan. Reagan inherited a worse financial crisis with both high unemployment and rampant inflation. Yet, Reagan was immediately blamed for the country’s economic ills. He did not have an adoring press to cover for him. Reagan never blamed Jimmy Carter. Instead he rolled up his sleeves, got to work and fixed things. He didn’t take exotic vacations and play golf all the time. He held cabinet meetings, worked with Congress and held regular press conferences — remember those? I actually miss Helen Thomas because she reminds me of the time when Presidents of either party had the decency and accountability to go a few rounds with the press.

Atticus you didn’t get the memo —”Nobody wins by going negative”...LOL, what a joke the rules we hamper ourselves with. These experts and pundits aren’t worth the cost of their coffee consumption.

Atticus:

The GOP appears to be determined to give control of the country to the Democrats. For at least the last 30 years I have been trying to find out why lawmakers of both Parties allowed the so called “New Left” to take control of this nation’s educational systems. I have never received an answer.

They all must know that shaping the attitudes and opinions of children will have monumental impact on the entire society as those children grow up to become the leaders of the nation.

This leads me to conclude that the deck is stacked against what used to be the greatest nation this miserable world has ever seen. We could easily refer to the Obama/McCain ticket. Or more recently the Obama/Romney ticket.

I see treason involved, but no one is ever tried for treason anymore. Why do you think that is?
