A few months back someone here started a thread with the fantasy that the Pubs should dump Romney and draft Petraeus. At the time I asked what we really know about him besides that he was a good miltary leader. I was thinking about disappointments like Wesley Clark and Colin Powell, but hey.
I became very leery of Petraeus as a presidential candidate when I learned he called himself a “Rockefeller Republican.”
