No doubt in my mind he was getting a little on the side. Was it an Obama honeytrap?

I don't believe a word that comes out of anyone associated with this illegal administration.
This is a cover to get out of the kitchen while it heats up.

Given he comes from the “new socially correct” military did that say if his affair was with a man or a woman?

Sounds like Obama had him set up. Blackmail.
Now that Obama is in for another four years, I’d guess there is a standing threat to his family if he talks.

The CIA Director has an affair and his boss finds out just before we do? This is one of the most transparently ridiculous stories I’ve heard in a while.

Just heard on KABC radio news - he is not going to testify about Benghazi. That is outrageous. Is he being blackmailed by Obama?

One by one, the push out the door continues. Petraeus, Hilderbeast, Witholder, a general here, a director there - pretty soon, the co-conspirators won’t be able to testify for or against ObaMao.

Remember, it wasn’t that long ago that Petraeus’ name was being floated as a possible VP candidate for Romney. Hmmm.

One article I read about it said the FBI has been investigating him over the affair which started while he was commanding in Afghanistan, Sooo if they have been investigating him for who knows how long, and the affair makes him a security risk as in being blackmailed, why did they put in the job of head of the cia and why did they wait until after the election to ask him to resign?

Hey Petraeus, was it with a woman? If not, was this just a physical thing or do you plan to marry him?

My sense is that he wanted out so badly. He’s been ruined by his association with Obama.

On Thursday, November 15, at 2:30 p.m. the Senate Intelligence Committee will hear testimony about the September 11, 2012, terrorist attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya. Scheduled witnesses will include, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper,
CIA Director David Petraeus, FBI Deputy Director Sean Joyce, Under Secretary of State for Management Pat Kennedy, and National Counterterrorism Center Director Matthew Olsen. I highlighted Petraeus' name because the word I got says that his resignation means that he will not be asked to testify.
The extramarital affair story looks more like a cover story for the real reason that Petraeus is stepping down. The real reason is that this keeps him from giving testimony. The coverup is ongoing, just like the coverup by Attorney General Eric Holder in the Fast and Furious scandal. Like Petraeus, Holder is talking about resigining too. For the story about Petraeus not testifying, go to this story:
Committees: Benghazi hearings proceed without Petraeus
